The 24th International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care was held from 09.02.2017 to 12.02.2017 at Codissia. It was jointly organized by the G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital and Coimbatore Cancer Foundation. The conference turned out to be a grand success and added value to the awareness on Palliative care and how it is a human right to be made available until the end of life. The fulfilment of taking Palliative care to a broader context was made possible through well thought-out and curated scientific programmes, oral and poster presentations by National and International doctors, nurses and volunteers. The pre-conference workshops which preceded the conference helped in setting the stage. We had 972 delegates from 16 countries, 19 different States and 4 Union Territories within India. Performance by Amrit students, Art of Living team and Shivanjali group added colour to the event.
