Pink October & Support Group Meeting – A Day of Hope and Strength

The Coimbatore Cancer Foundation marked Pink October with moments of reflection and inspiration. The day began with the tying of a pink ribbon to the Tree of Hope, followed by a Navarathri Golu Pooja in the OPD PSG institute of oncology.

A Support Group Meeting for breast cancer patients and survivors featured Mrs. Jyoti Jumani, a survivor who shared her journey of faith and endurance. Patients openly discussed their challenges, fostering encouragement and solidarity.

Dr. Bharadwaj Consultant PSG institute of Oncology emphasized the importance of an active lifestyle, while a physiotherapist conducted a session on Lymphedema management and exercises.

The event concluded with a musical session by PSGCAS Rotaract Club, where patients’ song requests were performed, creating a heartwarming celebration of hope, resilience, and support.
